Border militarization is wasting money and harming our community. This illustrated publication sheds a light on immigrant detention, a component of militarization, that has been harnessed as a money-making scheme that does little to actually protect communities. The illustrations shed a light on el viaje (the journey) one goes through and the landscape they encounter in immigrating from Latin America to the United States. The poster compiles all of the images from the booklet into one full color image.
